In little towns everybody knows each other and thinks knowing everyone else' b
usiness goes with it. My mother would yak on the phone with her friends ,
and my father would hear the gossip at the coffee shop or down at the tavern.
In a way Facebook has killed much of gossip and messing up stories because
everyone can read the original post.
