I did Goju-Ryu karate a long time ago and wanted to pick it up again, but the do
jos near me are pretty Cobra Kai, if you know what I mean. I'm looking for a mor
e traditional experience.
My kids did Tae Kwon Do and Brasilian Jiu Jitsu, I'm considering trying the latt
er. I like that BJJ, like Judo are capable martial arts when on the ground, and
that grappling and de-escalation are a big part of the art.
