VERY GOOD!

HG> It wasn't in the BIOS, but in the head of the user. There is a variable

HMMM, did some of the FOG in Ed's Head [TM] excape and traveled through the
Ether to Your part of the world.
NAH!, it couldn't do that, or could it.

HG> in the QWK-program named @DAY@ that I had used in the replay string but

HG> There's another variable, @MSGDATE@ that I also use in that string, and

OUCH!!!!!

HG> Now, there's no day-of-week to pick from the QWK-packet so the program
HG> picks that weekday from the system instead.

And No Reason for Ed to originate another message about observing what
puzzled Him.

HG> I have now experimented with various variants of the init string and

HG> This message may still use one of the experimental strings, but from
HG> now on, the weekday will disappear from all replies.

"Ed DID IT".

Here is a entry I put in My Multi-Mail DOS MMAIL.RC :

I was proud to see that I (FINALLY) got MM to type that line for Me.
You know how lazy a LID can be.

I will have to look in MM's DOC's to see what they say about those @DAY@
and @MSGDATE@ Variables. Another ROUNDTUIT................

But I do like learning, and am glad that I still can.

The pass three weeks I've tried to help a neighbor get His DELL Precision
M20 XP notebook to let Him use Wi-Fi on it.

And I knew nothing about how Wi-Fi worked on His pc, and still don't know
much after finally stumbling on what it takes to get the Wi-Fi LED to
light up on His notebook.

When I got a new Epson All-In-One a few years ago, the first thing I did
to IT was turn the Wi-Fi Setting OFF on it, since I have Cables connected
to everything I use with My computer stuff.

He let me take it home with me and when I took the notebook back to Him,
He told me that He decided to buy a Nextbook Tablet and put the DELL in a
closet.

That is what "Head Scratching" I've been doing while You've been Solving
the Problem I started about Your BBS message DOW (Day-Of-Week).
