BM>Hi Daryl!

Hi, Barry...

BM> DS> They're Little Debbie brand. Normally, you see them only around
BM> DS> Valentine's Day...but this year, a local Kroger had them out
BM> DS> before Christmas, so I stocked up.

BM>I'll have to keep them in mind.

I didn't see them this last week...but bought some cheese danish
coffee cake for breakfast.

BM>Possibly with all the new patients who had to switch insurance companies
BM>because of 'Obamacare'. <jk?> I more or less had to switch last BM>January:
if I wanted to stay with the doctor I've had for years it would BM>have cost me
~$300 more per month just because the hospital system he
BM>was affiliated with didn't participate in a different plan. Seems like BM>my
initial appointment wasn't until March.

Having been disabled since July, 2004, all I have now is Medicare.
Before my wife died, they took away my SSI and Medicaid, saying that
"$1500 a month between the 2 of us was too much money". Don't get me
started on that...those greedy bastards in Washington, who say "they
can't survive on $175,000 a year" don't have a clue as to what's going
on. They get full benefits (pay and medical) whether serving or retired.
That's one reason we're in such debt. Then, they seemingly are on recess
every time you turn around...shoot, they get more recess time than I did
in elementary school!!

But, with Medicare getting 80%, the 20% I pay helps me get a lower
rent when I do my yearly rent recertification.

BM>No, that was when I was working on Dad's tube amplifier (integrated radio,
BM>phono pre-amp - you know) and somehow managed to discharge a filer cap
BM>even though I was following the one-hand-in-back-pocket rule. Caught
BM>myself before falling off the wooden stool.

Also, one needs to NOT have ANY metal on themselves while working on
electrical stuff. For me, I wouldn't have a clue on what to do, so I
take it to someone who KNOWS what they're doing...or should, anyway. :P

BM>We've had a few railroad accidents in the general area over the years.
BM>Most are of the "I think I can be the train at the intersection" types BM>but
had one a couple years back where someone thought they could walk BM>across the
tracks and not wait for the train -- they wanted to get to
BM>the casino! (They went to the hospital instead.)

They nearly lost at the slot machine of life!!

Daryl
