I guess it depends on what you want to get out of the hobby.  Asking that
question is like asking what the best car is, or the best anything.  Everyone
you ask is going to have a different opinion.  I use single station presses,
one is RCBS Reloader Special II, the other is a CH.  My shotgun presses (as
most are) are turret types, both are MEC presses.  These work fine for me as I
don't load or shoot a large quantity so one stage at a time, one round at a
time works well.  Those with an interest running more towards quantity and
(slightly) less toward quality would probably be better served with a turret or
progressive press.

I think the most important factor is....  Get what you can afford right now,
use it, get into the swing of the hobby and then upgrade as you identify your
particular needs.  You'll always be able to sell the equipment you've outgrown
as long as it's not abused.
