I am in the process of possibly acquiring a TNC and a rig, with
power supplies, cables, and a magmount antenna, for a VHF Packet
Station...and possibly where I can also get back to doing "The
Weather Watch Net" (the precursor to "Arkansas Skywarn") for a
Little Rock area Ham Radio Club.
This setup will also allow me to activate a special door on my
BBS, where users who are licensed ham radio operators, with a
U.S. Technician Class or higher license, would be able to access
the Arkansas Packet Network, and leave me a message in a Packet
Mailbox. The program is ARPD - an Amateur Radio Packet Door, done
by the late Dave Perry, W4KGU (SK).
