The movie that had a lasting memory for me was 'The Five Pennies' starring
Danny Kaye
and Barbara Bel Geddes. He played a coronet band member that played with Louis

Armstrong. His daughter contracted polio, causing him to quit the band. The
scene where
the daughter lies in an Iron Lung was very moving.

I have paid Amazon three times to see it again, that's how much I liked it, and
for me it
stands the test of time.
