I have recently coded a stupid Perl IRC bot. It is more of a toy than anything e
lse,
but I thought some people would find it interesting. It is an RSS bot that regul
arly
fetches RSS feeds and posts them on one of more IRC channels. A nice way to have
news
pop up in low activity channels every now and then.
I don't consider myself a proper developer so I am open to opinions and comments
on
the bot. The program itself is very short as it relies in third party modules fo
r
