JAM is JAM is JAM... everything that support JAM should work just fine... the
first gotcha i can think of, though, is the "last read" pointer used to tell
the tosser what the last message scanned out was... this is one of the reasons
why JAM creates the ECHOMAIL.JAM and NETMAIL.JAM files with the area names and
the message numbers of the locally posted messages that need to be exported...
"last read" pointers for the tossers are not needed ;)
