As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from
their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to help
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.
If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
just publish it here.

TIAS.com merchants have thousands of cookbooks for sale! You can

Here's a recipe that might come in handy during your New Year's Eve Party.
Thanks to Cori B for sending this in!

Easy Spinach Dip

10 oz box of frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry 1 cup mayo (not
miracle whip)
1 cup sour cream
1 small shallot put through a garlic press salt and pepper to taste
Loaf of unsliced Pumpernickel (or French) bread, cut into 1 inch cubes

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate several hours or best overnight. Serve
with breadcubes for dipping. Sometimes rather than cutting up the whole loaf,
I hollow out the center to fit the serving bowl, and insert it into the
hollowed-out loaf.
