He's a former professor of computer science (or something like, at 
Nottingham no less -- used to ride the same public transit as the 
Periodic Videos guy!) and is now a professional presenter. So he has a 
full set of clues on how not to dwell on the boring parts. :)

Unlike a few I could name, who spend WAY too much time filming the 
mundane and repetitive, and not nearly enough on the useful bits.

While back Chris had one comparing various SD card options that was so 
useful, I printed out the results chart to carry with me for when I next 
buy SD cards.
