I think python is a decent language for getting something done relatively easy..
It's an interpreted language rather than compiled (meaning you don't need to c
ompile it, but if you really need a lot of speed for something, you're better of
f with a compiled language). Python is fairly nice though, and it includes a lo
t of useful libraries. It seems to be one of the more popular languages today.
