DOS is nothing more than "Disk Operating System"... it could be 256bit and
still be DOS...

nothing like that should be needed for true 32bit stuffs... they should be
using a flat memory model... the last time i used freedos it was very different 
from the normal MS-DOS... especially in the memory area... i had to figure out
the new ways to get the drivers loaded that i needed to access a machine i was
rescuing data from... that was several years ago when machines started coming
out with no standard RS232 serial ports on them... luckily i was able to use
the parallel post to rescue this particular machine ;)
