it would seem that the main issue is your connectivity issues... especially
when your NC or RC try to connect to your system to see if you are still active 
or not... plus you haven't been dropped... you've only been marked as "Down"...

what seems to be the problem causing your connectivity issues? that's where you 
need to be concentrating your activities...

you've already got an address... you just need to start communicating with your 
(new) NC and have them remove "Down" from your nodelist entry... you probably
should also be polling them at least once a week to pick up any host-routed
netmail that may be waiting for delivery to your system... polling as a backup
in case they cannot connect to you for some reason...
