Biden became a Senator in 1972. The Civil Rights act was 1964. Biden was only 22
and just out of law schol at the time. So, this is false.

In 1977 he did not hold any office, but he did make the "Racial jungle"
statement. It does not, however, refer to actual jungles. He thought that
manditory busing would be chaotic. He said without orderly integration, his
children would "grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle".
... Your inability to understand something is not a valid argument against it.
