I think it is assumed a lot of people goes to church without "knowing the moves"
. For
example, if they are going for the first time or whatever. I think not knowing w
hat is
propper is somewhat excusable, specially on religions that promote
giving-the-other-cheek or accepting that humans are falible and suck.
I am not church goer, but the times I have been to one because of social
circumpstances I have done my best to adapt :-P
Now, I think we can agree taking a knee was a clear declaration of political
affiliation. Much like singing "Cara Al Sol" in mass. Singing that is not an alt
ernate
way of doing anything, it is just a way of declaring yourself a follower of Gene
ral
Franco's Fascism. And it would not fly well among non-fascists.
