It's still deeply offensive to my sensibilities. I know that English football
teams regularly changed their names back in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
Manchester United, for instance, was founded as Newton Heath & West Ham United
were known as Thames Ironworks F.C. I suppose I can see why The Hammers changed
their name!
