Ummm... not sure where to start... How a gun looks like... shouldn't be a
consideration... You sound like my wife buying a gun.... making sure her
lipstick matches the handle... and are the bullets pretty enough..

I see you're stuck on a size thing... .44 bla bla bla... Why use an expensive
.44 magnum when a inexpensive 9mm works fine. Seriously you can by a 1000 round
box for $150-175... Go to the range and become a better shot and all you'll
need is 1 well placed shot and you're good to go...

I had to go back and re-read .... your original question is on lever... and
cowboy look... If it's a self defense gun... semi auto all the way. BTW, you
can go online and build an AR at Palmetto State Armory and build an AR for ~
4-500 bucks.... AND even better get it chambered in 9MM .... I'd have all my
self defense guns chambered in 9MM .... I would buy boxes and boxes and boxes of
ammunition... Anyway... that's what I would do...

I already told you what I thought on size...

Good luck!!!
