      Title: Homemade Sage Sausage Patties
 Categories: Pork, Herbs, Vegetables, Dairy
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      1 lb Ground pork
    3/4 c  Shredded cheddar cheese
    1/4 c  Buttermilk
      1 tb Fine chopped onion
      2 ts Rubbed sage
    3/4 ts (ea) salt & pepper
    1/8 ts Garlic powder
    1/8 ts Dried oregano
 
  In a bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing lightly but
  thoroughly. Shape into eight 1/2"-thick patties.
  Refrigerate 1 hour.
  
  In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook
  patties over medium heat, 6-8 minutes on each side.
