:( Hate to hear that. Several years ago, I was reading about some local
groups that would still go there and drag race. They said you had to watch
out for snakes in the infield (!!!) but that it was a fun time otherwise.
I somehow got the impression that the construction of the Texas Motor
Speedway not too far away might have hurt it also.
