A long time ago I got a 3TB WD External HDD for this XP pc.
I used it with a FireWire cable.
I just now tried to see if XP could see it but failed.
So I tried unplugging the FireWire connector and using a USB cable but that
hasn't been recognized by this computer either.
Oh Well, another learning experience I will have to put on the ROUNDTUIT
List to figure out why iirc the HDD worked long ago but not now.
HMMMM?
Could XP see a 3TB HDD or is 2TB the limit as You wrote earlier.
Thanks, 73 de Ed W9ODR
