I did some hunting & backtracking and side-stepping tonight, and may have
found a clue. 'Fidoconfig' is an important core element of the Husky
project. (Alan may be aware of it.) The sources I poked at (without any
understanding) seemed the sort of thing a Fidonet mailer might need to use.
