When i used it years ago it was very limited and it was difficult to use on my
bbs. i forgot the exact error msg but if i posted on my bbs to the newsgroup
it would be rejected because it thought i was spoofing names.
I said this a bunch of times but there's providers where you buy a block for 10
bucks and that's pretty much a lifetime subscription if you're just doing text
only and not binaries. it's not as limited as eternal sept.
Using one of the top newsgroup providers is 100x better than eternal sept.
I use astraweb. they are great and no BS
3 years later and i still have 24gigs left.
