yeah.. unfortunately you'd have to subscribe to *everything* for about a month
to know where activity is. it'll be empty and then there will be 40 people
posting..

the slackware one comes alive about every other week, alt.folklore.computers
blows up randomly.. the C and C++ ones in a month or so have more message volume
than all the bbs message nets combined for a year probably (you wouldn't know
it's not 1993 in there) .. i don't think i'd want that high of volume going
through a bbs though..

so either not worth it, or not worth it because it'd be annoying to read
through? *shrug*
