Yeah, I think Synchronet runs pretty well in Linux.  I moved mine from Windows t
o Linux 3 years ago after running it in Windows since 2007.  Also, since moving 
my BBS to Linux, I've set it up to run as a service so that it runs in the backg
round like any other service, which I think is pretty cool.
