No, there are 2 ways a user can expire:
1. their expiration date has been reached (by default, that's 0/never)
2. "User Expires When Out-of-time" is set to true (by default, that's false)
and they run out of time
In either case, it's a "permanent" change to their account until the sysop chang
es/reverses that, if they wish.
These were features used by "pay BBSes", but likely serve no real purpose these
days.
