No, but it's been documented as not-recommended, disabled by default and general
ly a bad idea.
If you really use/need this feature of the mail server (do you?), I would consid
er adding the ability for *authenticated* SMTP clients to send email directly to
user numbers, but that could also lead to confusion (why does this email addres
s work for some senders, but not others?).
