Ed,
EV> My main reason for being a BBS User is to read what other Users write about
EV> problems they have, and reading what help Users with more experienced write
EV> in their replies about it.
While not so much for a technical deal for me, I like the fellowship
and general banter. I can write a batchfile for the BBS, but my
programming ENDS at setting the clock on a microwave oven. <G>
EV> I'm a bit more knowledgeable about this here computer stuff that I was back
EV> in 1984 when I bought a Floppy Drive instead of a Cassette Drive
EV> when I got my Commodore 64 pc.
My first computer was a Radio Shack MC-10 Micro Color Computer, and
a 300 baud modem, with the programs saved and loaded via cassette tape.
EV> I knew enought that I could LOAD and LIST the Program Files that were
EV> on that Disk and while I was reading the listing for the program to
EV> Test the 1541 I noticed it had a line with the NEW Command in it.
I did very minimal with the programming end of it.
EV> It was about 1961 when I went to a Movie Theater to watch a Gladiator
EV> Movie. It was the first Gladiator movie I ever paid to watch.
There was a comic book with the Pink Panther outwitting a Roman
Gladiator. <G>
EV> ... I am a mental tourist, My mind wanders!
On my train of thought, most are riding for less than half fare. <G>
