I keep telling myself to splurge and get a dedicated DSL line from a local
provider for the BBS. A local ISP offers great service, 3 news servers, and
static IPs for around $50/month. Pricey, but he's a real ISP - no caps, no
blocked ports, nice features like MX forwarding and DNS.
He's kinda stayed in the 2000s, but real ISPs have become a niche offering now.
