I've seen some things like that. And I remember one of the major PC companies
(Dell, HP, Asus, I don't remember) made a tablet/laptop hybrid a few years ago
which snapped onto a keyboard accessory, and their slogan for it was "A tablet
when you want it, a laptop when you need it." I haven't seen too many of those
though..
