I know this is an old topic, but the problem was stated as simply "long message"
... but it's a specific case of a long message. It's when the final paragraph
is longer than 2 lines of 80 column text. The final paragraph gets cut to two l
ines in the lightbar quote box.
It doesn't get noticed because most people post in networked areas... so the la
st paragraph is the BBS network tag that is usually 2 lines, and even if longer,
almost never gets quoted.
I participate in an active local message area, and this has bugged me ever since
my favorite BBS upgraded to Synchronet 3.19 at the beginning of the year.
