your channel won't stay registered for YEARS if nobody is in the channel.
depending on the services, it can be 30 days of inactivity or longer.
You know who to talk to if you have a problem but I wouldn't even worry about
it.
you won't have any trouble and wont need ops.
I am on there right now and their nickserv is supposed to send me an email and I
still haven't got it.
why don't you just disconnect from irc.synchro.net and run your ircd
on your own.
