Subject: Running email on different domain/subdomain/TLD Date: Mon Sep 05 2022 01:24 am

I have a domain ending with a .email TLD that I'd like to use for Internet
email only. Is there an easy way to set up Internet email so that it only
responds via this domain, and prevent the "regular" web and other services
domain (it has a .cloud TLD) from trying to accept email, or otherwise
interfering with it but still have the software be "okay" with email on a
different domain?

This is the checklist of things that I thought I would need to do to set this
up:

Add it to the extra domain as per the instructions here:
http://wiki.synchro.net/config:domains.cfg

Do all the appropriate DNS configuration with my domain host, like adding the
MX record only for the .email domain as well as all the typical anti-spam
options like the DMARC/SPF/DKIM settings on that domain (although I read DKIM
isn't supported by Synchronet yet).

Am I missing any other software configuration options, or is this completely
unsupported and doomed to failure?
