I seem to get mixed results whenever I telnet_gate out of the BBS to different
telnet sites.
I thought I'd try setting up a "door" to nethack.alt.org. My external program co
mmand line looks like this:
?telgate nethack.alt.org
When I go to run it, it spews a short line of output like this immediately follo
wing the 'Connecting to' line:
²[CAN] ² ²#²'
I can telnet to nethack.alt.org just fine from the command line.
Also tried mudgate.js and unixgate.js in place of telgate.js from the BBS, but n
o difference.
Interestingly telgate.js works just fine for other things, like
towel.blinkenlights.nl.
