Yeah, I think I set that vbulletin NNTP gateway up at one point years ago too.
I started trying to write a tosser in PHP at one point, but never got very far.
I'm pretty sure I got confused/overwhelmed by packet specs, and all the stupid
FTN requirements that I'd have to account for between vBulletin and FTN messages
. It wasn't a great project for someone just learning PHP, or coding in general.
Honestly it probably would have been easier to create some kind of database brid
ge between SMB and MySQL
