It could, but I think it's very unlikely. I agree with you about copyright.
It's only so long to keep Mickey Mouse out the public domain.
What was annoying me, where the shreaking claims of theft from folks.
"I made $700 a copy for whatever 30 years ago, so quit using it. I'm going to
threaten you with a lawsuit!"
"Can I buy a copy for a reasonable amount?"
"No"
"Can |I buy a copy at full price?"
"No. I'm going to sue you. Good day."
It's even more annoying when the guy who claims to have bought the Worldcom
assets does it on their behalf.
I admit this doesn't directly tie in with what you were saying, but I like
bitching about it.
