Do you mean "./bbbsd 1 1 telnetd:23" ?

bbbsd loaded as user can't bind to ports less than 1024. I load bbbsd as root
at bootup which allows bbbsd to bind to the necessary ports. bbbsd will load
as root but switch to run as user.
The command line I use to load BBBS here is:
./bbbsd 3 22 telnetd:23 httpd:8080 ftpd:21 rawd:24554:binkp "quiet" "fork"
"uid:bbbs" &
Note: All on one line.
