Because at the time I interpretated it as having no more games made for my conso
le, which meant if I ever wanted to expand my collection I would need to invest
in a more modern system, which was a no-no.
Mind you, second hand market for games wasn't much of a thing. There was not tha
t much Internet and not many dedicated game stores.
So yeah I kept replaying my collection for long. In addition, small studios kept
releasing games for the old system for quite a while so the deal was not that b
ad.
