Interesting, I'd love to hear more! I'm reminded of the user groups of
the 70s, 80s and 90s - low-overhead means of building a community. Most
makerspaces now have a significant amount of expense involved and act
as a co-op.
I have one makerspace near me that's got warehouse space, another is in
a junior college, a recipient of a grant that bought 3d-printers,
woodworking tools, and computers.
