well did you not say this:
"I carried a small can-opener when I was a teen.
I would ride my bike in neighborhoods away from my normal area.
If I wanted to stop at a grocery store and get a candy bar, cookies or some
other snack I sometimes bought a can of Vienna sausages or a can of mushrooms.
After paying the grocer I'd open the can up, drink the liquid from the can and
eat the contents.
I would ask the grocer to put the empty can in the trash for me.
