It doesn't really matter where you place echomail.jam. As long as you have it
configured the same in your editor as well as fmail. Although in your case, the 
semaphore directory sounds solid enough. The message base directory has it's
own group of files to worry about. However, that's currently where I'm putting
it only because I don't have a semaphore directory just yet. ;)
