I hadn't heard about that.. But even then, a lot of the cell phones sold by tho
se budget phone carriers don't even have a place for a SIM card. They're locked
to the carrier and there's nothing you can really do about it, so even if there
was a way to unlock those phones, I doubt it would really be useful if you can'
t put a different SIM card in it.
