This was fearmongering put out by the right. Sure, I saw the idea tossed around
, but something like that was never going to come to fruition, and the democrats
knew it.
The vast majority of Americans are for common-sense gun laws. Universal backgro
und checks are supported by nearly 3/4 of Americans. Let's start there, and then
maybe try and change the gun culture we currently live with, as that's our real
problem.
