Interesting.. I had assumed Duckduckgo was its own independent search engine. I
remember in 2011, hearing that Bing was using Google as a back-end and it was a
bit of a surprise because Bing was supposed to be a new thing. I knew someone
who joked, "Let me Google that with Bing."
