There is the "Facebook Container" add-on for Firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/facebook-container/
That does a good job of trying to isolate everything Facebook-related,
including cookies and the trackers in embedded share buttons on other sites.
They do have kind of an insidious octopus of a service spread all around. Sounds
like tinfoil hat territory to accurately describe what they do.
