Who told you that they are not a target?
Ordinary Russian is nobody - he is not allowed to know the reality behind
Putin's decisions.
All you can do is to repeat public propaganda.
Any time you could be taken into captivity, tortured, even killed. No one will
care about your life.
Your ideas about current Russian state is just a way to hide your fear that your
life costs nothing. In DPR/LPR life of any ordinary man costs even less.
No one is protecting anyone. This is all just chess game for high rank people
and you are a pawn.
Zelensky is pawn which became a King. That's why Putin is so jealous :)
