That's a goof of the first magnitude, I obviously got carried away in the
writing and I stand corrected...

But my point stands in the sense that Turkey and Greece "had to" wind down the
warlike rethoric and also "had to" come to an understanding how to work Cyprus.
Plus France and Germany since 1948 have become solid trading partners and
hostility is nowhere in sight anymore, one of the key-reasons why the
fore-runner of the EU was created ... to make foes trading partners and forget
about war.
I should re-read my texts before publishing ... 8-)
