None of the declared goals of the sanctions have been achieved. None. Not even
the goals that we ourselves can assume have been achieved either.
More than that, even "saving Washington's economy" has ceased to resemble it.
To save it, Washington needed to divide the world into clusters, and tie the
relationship between the clusters to itself. It was up to the EC to impose
sanctions, and Washington would have to play diplomacy. But what has been
accomplished:
* The efforts of more than 100 years of work lost in Ukraine.
* A pile of refugees in the EC.
* In Russia, a perfectly legitimate persecution of agents of influence has
begun. And for 30 years they were only raised and had no right to touch them.
* The dollar and euro are losing ground in the world.
* Free speech has been completely destroyed.
* The very architecture of the westward-looking economy is bursting at the
seams.
* The weapons of West have shown their utter incompetence. "Holy javelin." Yep.
And many other things. Including the impending famine.
And what's in return? Nothing.
Previously, the West could control and supply very high value-added goods. The
same processors. And in order to buy new processors, you have to constantly
complicate the software, so that it all slows down on old processors. And why
do you need new versions of software with rounder corners? There are lots and
lots of them. A penny bag from Prada for the price of a car??
It all goes down the toilet. Everything.
Until there are truly independent sources in Ukraine, we have nothing more to
say. That's all.
