You can use either links (links2?) or lynx. Or just gopher.
If you are using an old computer, like I am right now (typing this on an Atari
800XL), you can connect to the Public Electronic Networked Information System
with an 80 column terminal and use the door programs to access Gopher, the web,
Usenet, and IRC! That's at penisys.online:6502.
There are tons of ways to browse! :)
