I played 2000 because it would work well on my 386DX40. I didn't pick up
3000 until I had a machine that it could run on (it required Windows). I
wanted to pick up 4 but its system requirements at the time were well above
whatever I had.
3000 is an upgrade to 2000. Gameplay is a little more complicated, but
there are some things that are a little easier than in 2000.
